I'm feeling emotional and vulnerable at the moment; I think treatment could help me but I'm concerned that it might open me up too much
It's important that you find the help and support that you need if you are experiencing physical, emotional or mental pain. For reassurance, you are always welcome to call and have a chat, email or come for a free 20-minute taster session with no obligation or strings attached. I'm very happy to give you guidance and it might be that I recommend a treatment or practice that I don't provide. Your best interests are what's most important.
What is equally important is that should you come for treatment, you will be heard and supported each step of the way in an atmosphere of empathy and confidentiality, and gently taken one step at a time. I am aware that some people are embarrassed or worried that they may have an emotional release (tears, anger, laughter etc.) but I am extremely used to this and if this spontaneously happens to you, this is all to the good. I haven't yet met anyone who hasn't said how much better they feel afterwards, recognising that it needed to come out.
Your session may consist of some non-verbal bodywork and/or energy healing or a blanket to warm and soothe you, starting the process of reducing any anxiety, helping you to feel more present and calm. It might be that some dialogue is required so you can bring any issue that has been troubling you out into the open and help clear what you've been holding on to. Together, we can assess what type of treatment will benefit you in order that you can feel assured and able to fully engage with the process.
If you book a series of treatments, you have the added bonus of having additional support via access to me for any queries or guidance on any physical or emotional responses you have experienced between sessions for the duration of the series.
